With several degrees in the prestigious profession of Pharmacy, learned in the field of law coupled with several years of sterling work experience in both fields and philanthropist endeavours across board, Dr Mike Egbiremolen Egbemekhe stands tall among his co-contenders for the office of Chairman of Esan North East LGA, the fastest developing LGA in Edo State after Benin City the state capital.
In a recent interview granted to Urban Scoop Media, the Uzea-born legal luminary went on a voyage around his background, education and philanthropist activities.
According to Dr Mike, he never truly intended to hold any political office, to avoid contamination. He believe he can impact in lives without politics. Gods ways are different from our ways as he realized that through political position he can impact more on the highest numbers of people. His people also confirmed to him that they need him in position. They called on him to contest the position because they know and believe in him.
Dr Mike also revealed that for fairness and equity to prevail, he relied on the party leaders to support his aspiration considering the fact that he has been very loyal to the party PDP against all odds, and in face of militating factors in the last round of elections, he delivered all his political units and circle of influence to PDP.
He also disclosed that his village has not produced a council Chairman or House of Assembly member since the creation of the Earth.
Dr Mike believe that in terms of qualification and capacity, he is the most qualified among others and in terms of fairness, justice inline with the principles of federal character, he is the most qualified person to be given the position.
To this end, Dr Mike strongly believe that he will emerge victorious in the electoral process. He therefore used the medium to most humbly appeal to party leaders to as a matter of love, peace and harmony support his candidacy to motivate him to bring his know-how and input to bear on the LGA for the good of all.
