Dorry Okojie gets royal blessing on governorship bid

The leading Edo State 2024 gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of Labour Party(LP), Dr. Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie, on Saturday 30th December 2023, received blessings from the Enijie in Esanland on his aspiration to succeed the governor, in the forthcoming 2024 governorship election.
The governorship hopeful received blessings from the royal fathers at the palace of the Onojie of Ohordua, HRH Zaiki Steve Ehizojie Eluojerior I, while in consultation with them.
The Real Estate Mogul said intimating the royal fathers on his ambition was necessary as a mark of respect and one of the most important consultations to be done before collecting the nomination form.
He told the monarchs that he is in the race to bring even development to all parts of the State.
That his main focus is to unite the State and bring development to the people.
The aspirant said he decided to seek the prayers, blessings and support of the monarchs because Charity begins at home. He cannot be telling outsides of his ambition and how he wants to transform the State when his people are not aware of what he is doing.
“I want to assure you that all parts of Edo State will receive equal developmental projects if I am elected. He noted that without roads, electricity and good industries, it would be difficult to develop the state. His major area of concern is to create wealth and enabling environment for investment to thrive.
Receiving Dr. Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie and his entourage, the Onojie of Ohordua HRH Zaiki Steve Ehizojie Eluojerior on behalf of the Enijie thanked God for the life of Dr. Okojie, trusting the ancestors to be with him, guide and accompany him on this mission.
“Our son is here to see us and seek our prayers and blessings as he Embarks on his governorship election. The governorship hopeful is here to ask for our prayers and support.
“Dr. Dorry Okojie, you will be victorious in the forthcoming election. Go and get the Ticket, God will give you the strength and ability to succeed in all your tasks”.
Speaking to newsmen after the visit, a chieftain of the Labour Party in Edo State and coordinator general, Central People’s Solidarity Movement (CPSM), Comrade Kingsley Ijebor, eulogize the leadership quality of Dr. Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie.
He call on the leadership of the party critical stakeholders and the good people of Edo State to support Dr. Okojie’s aspiration for a better Edo State.
