Don Pedro Obaseki reacts to claims that Obaseki’s brother dumps the PDP
A Chieftain of the PDP, Don Pedro Obaseki has denied reports that claimed one Benjamin Obaseki, a brother of Governor Godwin Obaseki, has dumped the PDP.
In an interview on AIT, Don Pedro said Benjamin didn’t write the purported resignation letter from the PDP. He said the people behind the resignation letter are people who don’t mean well for the people of Edo State
He said: “You also mentioned that there are certain persons who might have one way or the other left and claimed to be the brother of the Governor. I oppose anybody even if the person is the Governor if I believe that his conduct is against the collective commonwealth of our people. You talked about Benjamin. When I read that purported letter by Benjamin, Benjamin is a cousin of ours, I just laughed because I understand.
“You know that the person who wrote that letter couldn’t have been someone who openly has less than a primary six education. So I know that that was the hand of Esau and the voice of Jacob. There is nobody called Benjamin. I’m sure they were referring to a political player in one of the wards in Oredo ward 10. His name is Benjamin Cygan Obaseki who was with me yesterday.”
“And I know that he did not write that letter. And I actually told you Ijeoma in our previous conversation that you should tell him to come and speak on air. And you will realise that the syntax of my poor little cousin who is being used as a political tool by men who don’t mean well for our people is a draft from the pit of hell.”
