Dr. Tom Obaseki, Chairman of Oredo Government Council, is set to receive the Digital Local Government Chairman of the Year award, thanks to his outstanding reforms in the public sector.
This recognition comes after a nationwide nomination and online voting process conducted by various media organizations.
The Bureau of Public Service Reforms, BPSR, an arm in the Presidency, will present the award at the Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards 2024 in Abuja, scheduled for October 10-11, 2024, at the NICON Luxury Hotel.
This achievement showcases Dr. Obaseki’s efforts in transforming the council’s operations from analogue to digital, aligning with the Edo State Government’s digital governance initiatives.
