DEFENSIVE DRIVING: The Federal ROAD SAFETY In Collaboration With The Igueben LGA Sensitized Road Users On Defensive Driving.
The Chief Tom Ikimi Hall of the Igueben LGA council was on the 31st of March 2023, filled with the ANEWATH ( Members of bike riders association), Market Women Representatives, NGO Representatives and members of the LGA Civil Service to lecture and sensitization on defensive driving anchored by SAFETY officer Mr.
IGBEKERAOYA DESMOND in conjunction with the Igueben LGA COUNCIL.
In line with the FRSC Corps mandate on ruburst public enlightenment campaign during and after this Easter season, the major key nite on defensive driving for Road utilizers was analyzed, viz: To Identify, Predict, and Avoid harzards. The qualities of a defensive driver can not be over emphasized as the resource person went on to teach on COMMON CAUSES of ROAD TRAFIC CRASHES .
The VISION, MISSION and DUTIES of FRSC was not left out.
Parties present were admonished to take the message of FRSC to the grass root and people in order to keep our Roads safe and also urge the LGA council to provide affordable shops for sellers to avoid sales by the roads side preventing the dangers of accident.
Wishing all and sundry a glorious EASTER CELEBRATION, the corps adviced that during this season, DRINK, DON’T DRIVE, DRIVE TO STAY ALIVE!
