Dear Dr. Jude Obasanmi! It is your birth anniversary therefore, it is pertinent to recount without prejudices that you are shoulder to lean on.
It has always give me undiluted joy to pen down my thoughts and admiration for you because of your love for our people. You live a simple and a generous lifestyle with impeccable character, void of politics of hate, self-centered and bitterness.
Surely, the sun does not struggle to shine, you have proven beyond reasonable doubt that you are a shinning star, in acedemics, humanitarian and even in the storm of life. Indeed, I’m proud of you always my Senior comrade.
For such a wonderful and exemplary life, characterized by the fear of the Almighty, respect for people and honour for elders, humility, hard work, political dexterity and uncommon achievement, you sure deserved the best wishes from me, Esanland and good people of Edo State today and always.
Going back memory lane, How I was indoctrinated by a man whose public and personal life has had a tremendous impact in my life in no small measure, is worth celebrating with pride and honour.
Working with you has really helped me to know and understand the dept of your love for our people and I’m most tremendously humbled and honoured to have a special privilege to work with you, for your approach to me is always as a coach and a father.
I lacked words to describe your personality because, you are a man of many parts.
A humanitarian per excellence, A silent achiever, A quite philanthropist, A man that lives above sentiment of all sorts, A man that sees the burden of others as his.
