The birthday celebration which started on Friday 19th of January with the visit of His Excellency, the executive governor of Edo state, Governor Godwin Enogheghase Obaseki, the frontline PDP gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Asue Ighodalo Esq and some notable leaders to the celebrant, Edo South PDP Senatorial Leader, Pa Etose Dickson Imasogie officially took place on Sunday the 21st day of January to mark 83rd birthday anniversary.
It was a lock down from the beginning to the end of Oza Street off Sakponba Road, Benin City where the who is who in the society gathered to celebrate Edo South PDP Senatorial Leader Pa Dickson Etose Imasogie as he marks his 83rd birthday with families, friends and well wishers.
The celebrant who is a father figure to thousands of people both indigene and non indigene saw different groups from all works of life trooping in and out. Drums and native song rent the air from different women groups and traditional dancers.
Children were not left out as the disc jockey played to the amusement of all that were present. Sumptuous meal of different kinds, from native to English were served to dignitaries with assorted brands of wine.
The celebrant was joined by his children, grandchildren, wives friends, families and associates to cut his 83rd birthday cake as prayers were said as a mark of blessing for good health and sound mind
