BeeTV warms up for first anniversary
Nigeria-based online television, BeeTV, is set to celebrate its first anniversary and public lecture with the Theme: “The Role Of The Media And Law In Shaping Nigeria Electoral Future”.
The channel, which made its debut with a successful launch in Benin City on August 27th, 2023, has announced plans to mark its one year of broadcast impact on the media/News and entertainment landscape in Africa.
The event, according to the founder and Chief executive director, Best Orator, will also feature Public lectures to be delivered by Prof. Edoba Omoregie, Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin Designated. Other features include award and anniversary celebration.
She stated further that the event will be held at the SIO Event Centre, Red Cross Road, Off Ikpokpan Road, on December 9th 2024 at 12pm prompt.
As a build up to the one year anniversary celebration, the Chief Executive Officer of BeeTV, Best Orator and the staff yesterday paid courtesy visit to some stakeholders in Edo State.
The first port of call was the Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu, who is expected to be the special guest of honor commended Best Orator for being one of the best unbiased journalist in the country Nigeria. He further commended the staff for being focus and sustaining the establishment to this very time.
The next port of call was the National vice chairman South South of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Osi Orbih, who is expected to the father of the day stated that Best Orator has been a very industrious journalist whose dedication to work has stand her out as a trailblazer in all aspects of the profession. He eulogized her for playing the role of mentor to the horde of young people that she has given employment opportunities, in his words “I don’t have any doubt in my mind that some of them in near future will also excel”.
The who visited the former senator who represented Edo South Senatorial District between 2015 and 2023, Sen. Matthew Urhoghide showered encomium or Best Orator for her resilience over the years and urged her to remain focus and keep the flag flying high, Senator Urhoghide is expected to chair the occasion. Hon. Razak Bello-Osagie, who represented Oredo Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2015, on his part commended her for her flair for hard work and dedication. He charged her not rest on her oars.
Other stakeholders visited are former Edo State governor and present Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Sen. Adams oshiomhole who will be invested as the grand patron of BeeTV, amongst others.
