Governorship Aspirant Promises Purposeful Leadership

A leading labour party aspirant, Barr. Monday O. Eboigbe, from Edo central senatorial district, a veteran politician and a legal luminary, today Saturday, 14th July, 2023, met with Edo South chairmanship candidates in Benin City.
Addressing the candidates, Eboigbe said, “enough is enough, we cannot continually watch governors manipulate local government elections, without doing anything about it.
Eboigbe further said, Edo people will not tolerate further manipulations of local government elections.
He said, “let us take our destines in our hands and be prepared to resist any forms of manipulations in the coming local government election, fixed for September, this year.
He called on Godwin Obaseki to swear in his cronies, if he knows he is not prepared for a free and fear local government election, to save the state government money.
He also used the opportunity to address his support group in Edo South, where he promised them the 2024 Governorship election is a must win for the labour party.
