Saturday 11th of May, 2024 saw the hand of the clock of Door to Door sensitization team of Asue Ogie Solidarity Movement (AOSM) rotates to Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.
The Door to Door sensitization team was received by the People’s Democratic Party Chairman, Chief Manfred Idehen, who was briefed by the State Coordinator of the organization, Engr. Eigbe Osezele Samuel on their mission to the local government area.
Engr. Eigbe Osezele aka Heavy D’ briefed him on the core objectives of the organization and the structure which stretched across the local government of the state for effective Mobilization of the electorates in favour of the Peoples Democratic party and Dr. Asue Ighodalo, next Governor of Edo State come September 21, 2024.
The Egor local government chapter PDP chairman while responding gladly welcomed the team with accolades, describing the vision and mission as a right step in the right direction based on the fact that Politics is a game of number and winners only emerge through the highest votes bringing the need for a stone unturned approach in the Mobilization process to ensure victory like AOSM has designed and implemented in favor of the golden gift to Edo State.
In his remark, the Deputy Director General Egor/Ikpoba Okha, Hon. Collins Ekundayo Ukponmwan promised the leadership of AOSM of full support in any of their activities in the local government for the actualization of the stated goal of AOSM so far it’s in support of Asue Ighodalo/Osarodion Ogie gubernatorial aspiration whom he described as “the only option”.
AOSM there after inaugurated Door to Door team in the local government with the mandate to comb every nooks and crannies of the local government with the sweet sounding news of Asue Ighodalo/Osarodion Ogie, aimed at wooing massive support and also strengthening the structure of the organization in the local government for more exploit ahead of the upcoming guber elections in the state.
In her closing remarks, the AOSM state woman coordinator, Hon. Lizbeth Abai, thanked the leadership of Egor local government PDP for the warm reception given to them and charged the newly inaugurated team to deliver on their mandate
