The Executive Chairman of Esan West Local Government Area, Hon. Collins Aigbogun received some party stalwarts of the APC lead by a mobilizer Stephen Chuckwuemeka popularly known as MC Jagaban to the Peoples’Democratic Party (PDP) in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo state.
Hon. Collins speaking with the defectors, urges them to recognize themselves as fellow brethren with other members of the PDP, noting that, “politics should be centred on the interest of the people, which can only be delivered by competent, honest, transparent, and capable leadership. You cannot give what you don’t have and that is the focus of the people. We are a leadership party and we give credence to qualification and capacity”.
The spokesman, Mr. Stephen popularly known as MC Jagaban, thanked the council boss for being a leader with example. He pledged his commitment and support together with that of his associates to work assiduously to deliver the candidacy ticket of AiO² (Dr. Asue and Barr. Ogie) in the forthcoming guber polls.
“Thank you my chairman for redeeming me from the den of wolves. You are a leader with exemplary qualities and henceforth, be assured of our unwavering loyalty”, he said.
