“APC Guber Candidate Unprepared, Uninformed, Unqualified for Leadership”, Mayaki
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. John Mayaki, has described the standard bearer of his party in the Edo State September 21st governorship election, Mr. Monday Okpebholo, as unprepared, uninformed, and unqualified for leadership.
Mayaki said, “Every time Monday Okpebholo speaks, he shows he’s unqualified, unprepared, and too uninformed to be governor of Edo State. He’s simply too shallow to comprehend the enormous task of governance”.
He stated that as a member of the party, he has no regrets about giving his support to another party’s candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo. His word’s, “I have no regrets. In fact, I am proud to stand for a competent Asue Ighodalo and against an unprepared, uninformed, and unqualified candidate of the APC. At least, posterity would be kind to me that I never participated in the attempt to enthrone an incompetent person as the Governor of Edo state” Mayaki added.
“I can promise that I will be speaking out on the issues surrounding this electorally poor candidate of my party until the day of the election and possibly thereafter,” said Mayaki.
Continuing, he mentioned that many APC leaders, both at the state and national levels, were left scratching their heads as to how the party ended up with this push-and-start standard-bearer who can barely spell his name but waiting to be rigged into office.
Mayaki specifically pointed out that Monday Okpebholo could not answer even the most rudimentary and easily anticipated questions when he recently addressed the Akoko-Edo people in the diaspora via Zoom.
