APC Grassroot Mobilizer Dumps Party To Work For PDP In Orhionmwon LGA
By Ogiemwonyi Osazuwa
As governorship poll draws near in Edo State, a gallant grassroots mobilizer in Ugbeka Ward, Mr Ekhator Ewan, has dumped the All Progressive Congress (APC) and joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to work for Dr Asue Ighodalo and Barr Osarodion Ogie in the upcoming governorship poll.
Mr Ekhator Ewan’s defection to PDP in Orhionmwon LGA came after APC Guber Candidate Monday Okpebholo refused to open himself up for public scrutiny ahead of the September 21 governorship election in the state.
Received by the Performing Orhionmwon Council Chairman, Hon Newman Ugiagbe, who is reputed for bringing the vast majority of Orhionmwon people to the ruling party in Edo State and to support Dr Asue Ighodalo and Barr Osarodion Ogie in the upcoming governorship election, noted that the PDP Gubernatorial Candidates are determined to transform Edo State. He assured the new PDP member of equal opportunities.
Responding, Mr Ekhator Ewan, a formidable ally of Barr. Robert Okpiavbe, vowed to mobilize more people and all his followers to vote massively for PDP on September 21.
