APC gets bloody nose, battered, bruised, brutalized, destroyed, as over fifty thousand (50,000) Edos leads earthmoving march for Asue-Ogie

The APC in Edo State is now in a state of higgledy-piggledy, hugger-mugger, the Party has been battered, bruised, beaten black and blue, blown out of proportion, with bloody nose, the APC has been thrown to the bottomless pit, never to return to natural existence in Edo, as hundreds of thousands of Edos, on Tuesday, led an earthmoving march for Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie ahead the September 21 gubernatorial election in Edo State.
The iconic march, which took less than 24-hours to plan, was restricted to just three (3) local government areas within the Benin metropolis, viz Egor, Ikpoba-Okha and Oredo, although Edos from other LGAs joined the Tuesday movement in solidarity, sending a strong signal to the opposition camps, underlining the huge presence of the PDP in Edo and the overwhelming support, organic love Edos have for Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie.
Converging at the Museum Ground at 9.00am on Tuesday morning, Edos from all walks of life cutting across various local government areas of the State, commenced the march at the Ground in the City centre, Ring Road, with scintillating musical renditions from various music artists accompanying the march, women in Oba market, Akpakpava and Airport road areas, who originally were not in the arrangement, were seen abandoning their wares to join the movement, in solidarity with the Asue-Ogie train
Over one thousand (1, 000) support groups were seen brandishing banners, posters, handbills, placards of various sizes and forms, branded vehicles, showcasing different literary inscriptions in support for the PDP/AiO² as the crowd swell at every stop it made.
From Ring Road, to Akpakpava, to Oba market, with a final stop at the PDP State Secretariat, on Airport Road, hundreds of thousands of Edo women, men and youths, a vast majority of whom are PVC holders, accompanied by a very clement weather, were all in boisterous mood, with chants of Asue-Ogie blasting from different corners of the City; a carnival-like situation, giving ample opportunity for Edos to express their genuine and organic love for the City Boys, Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie.
Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, the very boisterous Director General of the PDP/Asue-Ogie Campaign Council, led hundreds of youths and other members of the Council to the rally; Iduoriyekemwen, Okhuarobo, and other Edo patriots were seen on the streets of Benin, leading others on victorious walk across the City, on Tuesday.
Highpoint of the Tuesday mass movement was the arrival of the City Boys, Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, whose presence further ignited great excitement, uncontrollable boisterism, inner joy, genuine happiness, complete fulfilment, total satisfaction, and increased energy amongst the hundreds of thousands of Edo people who trooped out en masse to show their organic support for Asue-Ogie as Edo prepares to elect them to succeed Obaseki this September.
Today’s movement, a tsunami, can only be likened to the various movements across the Country, staged by the Obidients during the last general election of 2023, majority of whom (Obidients) were at the Tuesday movement, expressing love, support and solidarity for Asue-Ogie; Obidients have said they cannot run with the Labour Party Candidate, Olumide Akpata, due to his arrogance and disregard for the rule of law.
Recall that few weeks ago, Akpata urged some youths in Upper Sakponba to shun the anti-cultism law passed by the Edo State Governor, claiming that Gov. Obaseki should have negotiated with cultists; those youths have now dumped Akpata for his lawlessness; they are all now with Asue-Ogie after Upper Sakponba youths led a mass movement to call them home.
The Tuesday mass movement is a prelude to various intra-state movements, rallies, parades, marches for Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, that will be unfolding as the September gubernatorial election fast-approaches; today, Edos from Egor, Oredo, Ikpoba-Okha, Ovia North East, Orhionmwon, and other LGAs across the State were seen moving in solidarity for Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, an unstoppable duo who have shown overwhelming capacity, character, competence, with sufficient possession of cognate experience required to succeed Obaseki come November this year.
And as Edos retire back to their homes after a successful microphone testing on Tuesday, APC, having sustained a bloody nose today, remains battered, bruised, brutalized, destroyed, as a vast majority of Edo people at home and in the diaspora enthusiastically awaits September 21, to cast their precious votes for the “Men Wey Sabi”.
