The Edo State Chapter of *Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN)* today convened its World Press Conference in Benin City, before the Fourth Estate of the Realm, where it formally declared its readiness to mobilize over *2.5 million votes* for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Addressing the Fourth Estate of the Realm, the *Edo State Coordinator, Hon. Deacon Patrick Idiake*, stated that RTIFN remains a disciplined, well-structured grassroots movement with a clear mandate to project the tangible achievements of President Tinubu to the Nigerian people.
Hon. Deacon Idiake informed the Fourth Estate of the Realm that the Edo State Chapter will operate in synergy with the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and in strategic collaboration with the City Boy Movement and the Renewed Hope Agenda, to execute a comprehensive house-to-house sensitization across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
In his presentation before the Fourth Estate of the Realm, the State Coordinator described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the best of his kind, whose uncommon reforms have restored hope, stability and fiscal discipline to the nation.
He told the Fourth Estate of the Realm that the President has demonstrated exceptional statesmanship by granting *financial autonomy to all arms of government*, including the historic Local Government autonomy which has reactivated the 774 Local Government Areas and brought governance closer to the people.
He further briefed the Fourth Estate of the Realm that the President has ended the era of borrowing to pay salaries, as states now pay salaries promptly without recourse to borrowing, owing to the President’s sound economic management.
On human capital development, Hon. Deacon Idiake informed the Fourth Estate of the Realm that the *NELFUND Students Loan Scheme* remains a historic first in the annals of Nigeria, which has provided Nigerian students with access to educational loans to complete their studies, thereby easing the burden on parents and guardians.
He also highlighted before the Fourth Estate of the Realm the President’s massive infrastructural interventions, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and extensive road construction across the North-East, North-West, South-South and South-West, as well as empowerment programmes for women and free interest loans to farmers to boost agricultural productivity.
Reeling out the operational strategy to the Fourth Estate of the Realm, the State Coordinator stated:
“We are going to the grassroots to tell the people the truth about what Mr. President has been doing. We are not going to tell them lies. When the people hear of his achievements, they will vote for him. We are not going to give them money, we are going to give them facts.”
“For me, Relax coming to Edo State is going to be a revolution and something different. We are going to be very intentional and do all that is required from us to ensure that the elections are seamless and easy for the President.”
