Today, I, Kingsley Ohens, join family, friends, colleagues, members of the media community and well-wishers across Edo State in celebrating Dr. Patrick Ebojele, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, as he marks his birthday.
A birthday offers an opportunity not only to celebrate another year of life, but also to reflect on the contributions, responsibilities and milestones that have defined an individual’s journey. For Dr. Patrick Ebojele, his time in office as Chief Press Secretary has been marked by a clear commitment to professional communication, public information management and the effective projection of the Governor’s policy direction.
Since his appointment as Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Ebojele has occupied a strategically important position at the intersection of government, the media and the people. In an environment where the speed, accuracy and clarity of public communication can significantly shape citizens’ understanding of government policies and programmes, the office of the CPS demands discipline, composure, accessibility and a strong understanding of the media landscape.
Dr. Ebojele has brought these qualities to the responsibility entrusted to him. Through his official engagements, statements and interactions with the media, he has continued to communicate the activities and policy initiatives of the Senator Monday Okpebholo administration, including its SHINE Agenda, while helping to provide context to the government’s programmes and priorities.

As he marks this new chapter of his life, I celebrate Dr. Patrick Ebojele not merely because of the office he occupies, but because of the professional journey and personal qualities he brings to the responsibility.
Birthday celebrations are moments to appreciate the past while looking ahead with renewed hope. I therefore wish Dr. Ebojele greater wisdom, good health, strength and fulfilment in the years ahead.
