IKHARIALE HAILS OKPEBHOLO, APC OVER MASSIVE EDO CENTRAL RALLY; REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR 2027 VICTORY MISSION

Former House of Representatives member for Esan Central/Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency and APC chieftain in Edo Central, Rt. Hon. Patrick Ikhariale, PhD, has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the successful Edo Central Senatorial District Mega Rally held in Uromi.

Ikhariale described the rally as a strong demonstration of the APC’s growing popularity, unity, and political strength across Edo State, noting that the massive turnout of party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and supporters reflected the people’s confidence in Governor Okpebholo’s leadership.

Speaking after the rally, the former federal lawmaker praised Governor Okpebholo’s political leadership and commitment to strengthening the APC in Edo State.

“The impressive turnout at the rally confirms that the people have confidence in Governor Monday Okpebholo and the APC. It further proves that the APC remains the dominant political force in Edo State,” he stated.

Ikhariale reaffirmed his loyalty and total support for the APC, pledging continued commitment to the party’s electoral success. He expressed confidence in Governor Okpebholo’s pledge to deliver 2.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, describing the target as achievable through effective grassroots mobilization and sustained political engagement.

He also expressed optimism about the July 11 local government elections, predicting overwhelming victories for the APC across the state.

“The APC family in Edo State remains united, focused, and determined. We are committed to delivering victory in the forthcoming elections and beyond,” he added.

The rally, held in Uromi, featured the presentation of APC candidates for the forthcoming local government elections, as well as candidates for the House of Representatives and Senatorial positions, further energizing party supporters ahead of future contests.

Political observers described the event as one of the largest political gatherings in Edo Central in recent years, underscoring the APC’s determination to consolidate its political dominance in Edo State and strengthen support for the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Monday Okpebholo.
