Ahead of 2027 Polls, Esan West Renewed Hope Ambassador Coordinator Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe Esq. Calls on Eligible Citizens to Enroll in INEC Ward-to-Ward Voter Registration

Urbanscoopnews reporting

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gradually take shape, the Esan West Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Asiwaju 2027, Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Esq., has intensified grassroots engagement by urging eligible residents to participate in the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ward-to-ward voter registration exercise.

Sir Dr. Eseigbe made the call while addressing party faithful, community leaders, and residents across Esan West Local Government Area, stressing the importance of voter registration as a fundamental civic responsibility and a critical step in democratic participation. He encouraged young Nigerians who have recently attained the age of 18, citizens who are yet to be registered, and those who have lost or damaged their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to take advantage of the ongoing exercise at their respective wards.

According to him, the ward-to-ward registration initiative by INEC is designed to deepen inclusiveness by bringing the electoral process closer to the grassroots, thereby eliminating logistical and accessibility challenges that often discourage voter participation.

The Esan West Coordinator noted that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ mobilization efforts align with the broader political vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which places strong emphasis on grassroots participation, civic consciousness, and democratic consolidation. He further referenced the public commitment by the Edo State Governor to deliver significant voter support in future elections, describing the current voter registration exercise as the foundational phase toward achieving that goal.

Supporters and party faithful in Esan West observe that early voter mobilization and registration advocacy remain crucial determinants of electoral success, particularly in densely populated grassroots communities. As INEC continues its registration exercise nationwide, stakeholders across political divides are increasingly encouraging citizens to ensure their voter records are updated ahead of future electoral timelines.

The call by Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Esq. marks a renewed phase of political awareness and grassroots mobilization in Esan West, signaling growing political engagement as preparations toward the 2027 general elections continue to unfold.
