Senator Ikpea Donates E-Registration Materials to APC Across Edo Central Senatorial District

In a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots participation and deepening internal party democracy, the Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea, has donated critical registration materials to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the party’s ongoing nationwide electronic registration exercise across the five Local Government Areas of the district. The intervention underscores the Senator’s continued commitment to building a strong, inclusive, and well-structured party rooted at the grassroots.

The presentation of the materials was carried out at the APC Party Secretariat in Uromi, where the five local government party chairmen, accompanied by key leaders and stakeholders from their respective areas, converged to receive the items on behalf of their local government structures. The materials were presented by a delegation representing the Senator, led by Hon. Isaac Irisoh, alongside Hon. Mike Isemhenbita, Hon. Michael Eramhenze, and Mr. Michael Eleoebhose.

The chairmen present at the event included Elder Goddy Obainoke of Esan South East, Mr. Ibhagbemien Emmanuel of Esan North East, Barr. Ekeoba Rawlings of Esan Central, Chief Sunday Okhuolegbe of Igueben, and Mr. Goddy Okhilu of Esan West.

Speaking on behalf of Senator Ikpea during the presentation, Hon. Isaac Irisoh commended the APC chairmen and executives across the five local governments for their dedication, resilience, and visible efforts in strengthening the party at the grassroots. He conveyed the Senator’s appreciation for their commitment to party ideals and their sustained mobilization of members, particularly at a critical period of revalidation and expansion of the party’s membership base.

Hon. Irisoh stated that the Senator considers the e-registration exercise a vital step toward building a modern, inclusive, and people-driven political party. He explained that the donation was made in good faith to ease the registration process, eliminate logistical challenges, and ensure a smooth, transparent, and effective exercise across all wards in Edo Central. He added that Senator Ikpea remains steadfast in his loyalty to the APC and firmly believes that a united and well-organized party remains the foundation for good governance, sustainable development, and purposeful leadership.

According to him, the Senator extends his goodwill and gratitude to party members across the senatorial district for their continued support, cooperation, and trust, while reaffirming his readiness to consistently support initiatives that strengthen the party and advance the collective aspirations of the people of Edo Central.

Receiving the materials at the APC Secretariat in Uromi, the various local government party chairmen expressed deep appreciation to Senator Ikpea for what they described as a timely, thoughtful, and impactful gesture. They noted that the materials would significantly enhance the efficiency and smooth flow of the ongoing e-registration exercise and ensure wider participation of members and new entrants into the party.
