Ekpoma, Edo State — Renowned detribalized leader, business mogul, and humanitarian, Chief Dr. Thomas Attah, has issued a heartfelt security message to the people of Ekpoma and other parts of Edo State, calling for calm, heightened vigilance, and collective responsibility in the face of recent security challenges.
In his message, Chief Attah expressed deep sympathy to the families of victims affected by the unfortunate incidents across the state. He described the loss of lives and disruption to peaceful coexistence as deeply painful, noting that no society can thrive where insecurity threatens the safety of its people.
Chief Attah strongly appealed to all security agencies operating in Edo State to intensify their efforts, enhance intelligence gathering, and strengthen proactive engagement with local communities. According to him, a coordinated and responsive security architecture is critical to restoring confidence and ensuring the protection of lives and property.
He also urged residents to remain calm and avoid actions that could escalate tension or spread fear. “Security is a collective responsibility,” he noted, stressing that timely information from the public can significantly assist security agencies in preventing crime and maintaining peace.
