Uzogholo Development Association Elects New National Executives at 2026 Easter Conference

The Uzogholo Development Association (UDA), a prominent socio-cultural body representing the Uzogholo community in Ewu Kingdom, Esan Central Local Government Area, has successfully elected a new set of national executives during its 2026 Easter Conference held on April 4, 2026.
The annual Easter gathering, a longstanding tradition of the association, brought together a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including executives from various state branches, youth representatives, and community elders. The conference served as a platform for deliberation on community development, unity, and leadership transition.
At the climax of the event, members unanimously ushered in a new leadership team to steer the affairs of the association for the next tenure. The newly elected national executives are as follows:
• Chairman: Elder Solomon Isesele
• Vice Chairman: Pastor Edwin Unuoya
• General Secretary: Hon. John Orbisi Irelen
• Assistant Secretary: Charles Aigbodion
• Financial Secretary: Okoh Idemudian
• Provost: Mr. Vincent Ogba
• Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.): Lucky Ogba
• Assistant P.R.O.: Abu Fabulous Ikpotoki
• Liaison Officer: Deacon Alex Irabor
• Welfare Officer: Dr. Mark Ogba
The election process was conducted in a peaceful and transparent atmosphere, reflecting the unity and shared vision of the Uzogholo people both at home and in the diaspora.
In his remarks following the announcement, members expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly elected executives to advance the developmental aspirations of the community, strengthen internal cohesion, and deepen engagement across all branches of the association.
The Easter Conference continues to stand as a vital institution for fostering dialogue, cultural preservation, and collective progress within the Uzogholo community.
