The Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje Project Initiative has concluded arrangements to distribute school bags and other essential learning materials to students and selected public schools across Edo Central Senatorial District, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots educational support and easing the burden on parents.

Speaking with journalists, the President and Founder of the Initiative, Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje, described the outreach as part of the foundation’s longstanding commitment to community development and human capital investment. He noted that the intervention reflects the organisation’s core philosophy of giving back to society, particularly by supporting access to quality education at the foundational level.

Dr. Ahamioje, a business leader and humanitarian who has declared interest in representing Esan South East Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, emphasised that the programme is not politically motivated but rather a continuation of the foundation’s tradition of social responsibility.

According to him, “Education remains one of the most powerful tools for social transformation. Through this initiative, we aim to complement the efforts of parents and guardians, while encouraging students to remain focused and motivated in their academic pursuits.”

The Foundation’s spokesperson, Prince Miracle Ogbebor, disclosed that the distribution exercise will cover multiple schools within the district, assuring that the school bags and learning materials have been procured in sufficient quantity to reach a broad spectrum of beneficiaries.

He commended Dr. Ahamioje for his consistency and unwavering dedication to humanitarian service, describing the Initiative as one that has steadily built credibility through sustained community-based interventions.

Community stakeholders have welcomed the programme, noting that such grassroots educational support is critical in addressing resource gaps in public schools and promoting inclusive learning opportunities for students across Edo Central.

The distribution exercise is expected to commence in phases, with school authorities and community leaders collaborating to ensure transparency and equitable reach.

The Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje Project Initiative continues to position itself as a development-driven platform focused on education, empowerment, and sustainable community impact.
