Women for Democracy Celebrates Dr. Ernest Ahamioje, Applauds His Commitment to Women Empowerment
The Esan South East Local Government Chapter of Women for Democracy (WD) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje, a frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Edo State House of Assembly, as he marks his birthday.
In a statement issued by the chapter’s National Coordinator, Dr. Maria Okokhuele, the women-focused advocacy group described Dr. Ahamioje as an exemplary leader whose grassroots engagements and empowerment initiatives have significantly impacted women across Esan South East.
Dr. Okokhuele commended the aspirant for what she termed his “consistent and deliberate investment in the advancement of women,” noting that his empowerment programmes have provided economic support, skills acquisition opportunities, and sustainable livelihood pathways for countless women within the constituency.
According to her, Dr. Ahamioje has distinguished himself as a development-driven figure who understands the central role women play in community growth and social stability. “His numerous women empowerment initiatives are not symbolic gestures,” the statement read. “They are practical interventions that have restored dignity, strengthened families, and enhanced economic participation among women at the grassroots.”
The group further praised his inclusive leadership style, emphasizing that his political aspiration reflects a broader vision anchored on equity, representation, and community-centered governance. Dr. Okokhuele described him as a compassionate humanitarian whose approach to service transcends political ambition and is firmly rooted in people-oriented development.
“As he celebrates another year, we recognize not just the passage of time, but the measurable impact of his service,” she stated. “Dr. Ahamioje has demonstrated uncommon commitment to uplifting women and vulnerable groups, and this speaks volumes about the kind of representation he seeks to offer.”
Women for Democracy concluded by wishing the celebrant continued strength, wisdom, and sound health, expressing confidence that his leadership trajectory will further promote inclusive policies and sustainable empowerment initiatives within Esan South East and beyond.
