The Edo State House of Assembly Esan Forum has conferred a Special Recognition of Excellence Award on Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development and House of Representatives hopeful, in recognition of his outstanding public service, visionary leadership, and steadfast commitment to the advancement of Esan land and Edo State.
The event, which took place on Saturday at the Edo State House of Assembly Complex in Benin City, brought together Esan staff of the Assembly and distinguished guests to celebrate a career defined by dedication, inclusiveness, and measurable developmental impact.
Presenting the award on behalf of the forum, Honourable M.D. Igbas Ezehi, Chairman of the Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission and former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, delivered a detailed citation outlining the Commissioner’s exceptional qualities. He commended Sir Dr. Eseigbe’s stability in leadership, commitment to institutional strengthening, bipartisan engagement, and people-centered governance approach, describing him as a dependable force in advancing sustainable development across Esan land.
In his capacity as Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Sir Dr. Eseigbe has championed strategic initiatives in urban renewal, land administration, and infrastructure planning, contributing significantly to coordinated growth and long-term development across Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Local Government Areas. His governance philosophy emphasizes consultation, transparency, and policies that balance economic expansion with social welfare and community progress.
Representing the Commissioner at the ceremony, Hon. Idahoisa Ehijiator Julius (Vasco), Personal Assistant to Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe, expressed profound appreciation to the Esan Forum for the honour bestowed upon him.
