Benin City, Edo State —
Edo State recorded a defining political moment as the National Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Asiwaju 2027 officially inaugurated its Edo State Chapter, setting in motion a coordinated, grassroots-driven mobilisation strategy in firm support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The historic inauguration, held under the leadership of the Edo State Coordinator and Chairman, Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh (popularly known as “Party Is Supreme”), attracted a broad spectrum of political heavyweights, government officials, party leaders, women and youth mobilisers, reaffirming Edo State’s central role in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.

Delivering the keynote address, Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, gave an unequivocal assurance of Edo State’s readiness to deliver 3.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. He praised the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for providing a structured platform for political engagement and mobilisation, noting that the initiative complements the developmental strides already being recorded in Edo State and across the nation under the Tinubu administration.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown purposeful leadership and courage in governance. Edo State is fully prepared to stand with him and deliver overwhelmingly in 2027,” Governor Okpebholo stated. “This movement must take the Renewed Hope message to the grassroots — markets, churches, mosques, and communities.”
Earlier, in his welcome address, Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh described the inauguration as more than a formal event, calling it the activation of a statewide political engine designed to consolidate support for the Renewed Hope Agenda. He charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to work closely with party leadership at all levels to ensure effective grassroots penetration.
Hon. Aigboboh took time to enumerate the achievements of the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, highlighting key interventions in road infrastructure, education, healthcare delivery, security, urban renewal, and social development, noting that these milestones have restored confidence in governance and strengthened public trust across the state.
He further highlighted major milestones of the Tinubu administration, including reforms in oil and gas, economic restructuring, food price stabilization, and institutional reforms, stressing that the Renewed Hope Agenda is gradually repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth. He commended the National Leader of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, H.E. Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the South-South Coordinator, H.E. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for their strategic leadership and direction.
The event enjoyed strong institutional backing, with goodwill messages from Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Denis Idahosa, Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, APC State Chairman Emperor Jarret Tenebe, former deputy governors, senators, commissioners, and party leaders, all pledging total commitment to the Renewed Hope project.
The official inauguration and swearing-in of the senatorial, local government, and youth coordinators was formally carried out by Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, who charged all appointees to see their roles as a sacred political responsibility and to deliver decisively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 through sustained grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking to journalists at the close of the event, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe Esq, who also serves as the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Esan West Local Government, declared that Esan West is politically united and fully mobilised for President Tinubu’s re-election.
“Esan West Local Government is united, focused, and ready to deliver massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” Sir Dr. Eseigbe said. “We are aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda and committed to translating support into votes.”
Across the three senatorial districts — Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South — coordinators pledged unprecedented voter mobilisation, with women leaders vowing to drive the message through markets, churches, mosques, and community networks.
With decisive leadership from Governor Monday Okpebholo, strategic coordination by Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, and grassroots mobilisation driven by leaders such as Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Edo State has firmly positioned itself as a major stronghold of the Renewed Hope movement for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027.
The message is clear: Edo is ready — and the journey to 2027 has begun.
