Eseigbe Solidarity Movement | Sunday, January 25, 2025
Political and community-based organisations drawn from Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency have thrown their weight behind the 2027 National Assembly ambition of Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe, urging stakeholders to unite early in support of what they described as a credible and people-focused candidacy.

The endorsement was announced during a well-attended solidarity gathering, where leaders of various groups—including the influential Wise Men of Esan Central—publicly affirmed their confidence in Eseigbe’s leadership capacity and legislative competence. The groups described him as a seasoned public servant with the experience, vision and integrity required to effectively represent the constituency at the House of Representatives.
Speakers at the event highlighted Eseigbe’s longstanding involvement in party politics and public service, noting his consistency, loyalty and firm grasp of legislative procedures. According to them, his extensive grassroots connections and exposure to legislative work place him in a strong position to attract federal opportunities, promote inclusive development and advance laws that directly address the needs of the people.
The leaders further emphasized that Eseigbe’s record of accessibility, commitment to unity and ability to build consensus across communities in Esan land distinguish him as a unifying figure with broad appeal beyond partisan boundaries. They called on party members, youths, traditional stakeholders and community leaders to mobilize early and work collectively toward securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
Responding to the show of support, Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe expressed appreciation to the groups for their endorsement and trust, describing the gesture as both humbling and motivating. He reaffirmed his dedication to service-driven leadership, inclusiveness and the pursuit of policies aimed at improving the social and economic wellbeing of the constituency.
Eseigbe noted that the growing momentum behind his aspiration reinforces the need for sustained grassroots engagement and stronger collaboration across Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency as preparations for the 2027 polls gather pace.
