Ewu Youth Development Association Pledges Support for Lucky Eseigbe’s 2027 House of Representatives Aspiration

Iruekpen, Edo State — The Ewu Youth Development Association has formally pledged its support for the 2027 House of Representatives aspiration of Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Esq., Edo State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, citing his record of service, legislative experience, and commitment to grassroots development.

The endorsement was made during a solidarity visit by members of the association to the residence of Sir Dr. Eseigbe in Iruekpen, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the President, Mr. Ezekiel Isikhuemen, said the visit was motivated by confidence in Sir Dr. Eseigbe’s leadership qualities and track record in public service.
“We came from Ewu to pay this solidarity visit because he is the one the cap truly fits. Ewu consists of Ward 7 and Ward 8, and the Ewu Youth Development Association cuts across both wards. By the grace of God, we are putting our collective weight behind Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe for the House of Representatives in 2027,” Isikhuemen said.
He noted that the association believes Sir Dr. Eseigbe’s contributions to governance and development within and beyond the constituency demonstrate a passion for community growth and the overall well-being of the people.
Also speaking during the visit, the Secretary of the association, Mr. Yusuf Anetor, described the endorsement as “unwavering and deliberate,” emphasizing that the association was convinced of Sir Dr. Eseigbe’s capacity to deliver effective representation.
“Our visit today is to clearly declare our full support for Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe’s House of Representatives bid in 2027. His leadership qualities, accessibility, and dedication to public service stand him out, and we are fully in support of his ambition,” Anetor said.
Another member of the association, Ms. Favour Aigbefoh, highlighted Sir Dr. Eseigbe’s legislative exposure dating back to 2007, as well as his role in facilitating developmental interventions, including contributions toward the realization of the Ewu gully erosion control project.
Responding, Sir Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Esq. expressed appreciation to the Ewu Youth Development Association for the visit and the confidence reposed in him. He assured the group of his continued commitment to advancing development and inclusive governance.
“I am grateful for this show of solidarity and support. I assure you that I will continue to deploy my resources, experience, and capacity to drive sustainable development for the good of our people,” he said.
He further noted that his experience working closely with two Members of the House of Representatives and a Senator has equipped him with the requisite legislative knowledge to effectively represent the constituency if given the opportunity in 2027.
The Ewu Youth Development Association concluded the visit by calling on other youth groups, associations, and community development stakeholders to rally behind Sir Dr. Eseigbe in the interest of sustained development and quality representation.
The visit ended with chants of solidarity from members of the association, affirming their confidence and support for Sir Dr Lucky Eseigbe Esq,.
