Community Commends Sir (Dr) Lucky Eseigbe for Transformational Support in Esan West

Residents of Powerline, Judges Quarters, Uhumudumun in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State have expressed deep appreciation to Sir (Dr) Lucky Eseigbe Esq., for his generous financial support towards the installation of a community transformer at Hon. Abulu Junction.

The community acknowledged Dr. Eseigbe’s cash contribution, which significantly supported the execution of the electricity project valued at over ₦4.5 million. According to community leaders, the intervention has eased the financial burden on residents and will greatly enhance access to stable electricity, improving living standards and economic activities within the area.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Public Relations Officer, Agazuma S.E., PhD, noted that Dr. Eseigbe’s contribution is consistent with his long-standing record of community service and development-oriented leadership. He recalled that Dr. Eseigbe was the first individual to sink a borehole in Iruekpen community, an initiative that addressed a critical water supply challenge and set a precedent for grassroots development efforts in the area.

The community further highlighted Dr. Eseigbe’s collaborative role with Honourable (Barrister) Ikhariale Patrick, which led to the delivery of hundreds of electricity transformers across Esan West, Igueben, and Esan Central Local Government Areas between 2007 and 2015. These interventions, residents say, contributed significantly to infrastructural growth and improved quality of life across the region.

Beyond infrastructure, Dr. Eseigbe’s commitment to human capital development was also commended. Over the years, he has sponsored West African Examinations Council (WAEC) enrolment fees for secondary school students and awarded scholarships to deserving youths, enabling many young people to pursue their educational aspirations.

As Dr. Eseigbe seeks election into the House of Representatives, the people of Powerline, Judges Quarters, Uhumudumun have offered prayers for divine guidance, protection, and success in his political journey. They expressed confidence that his history of service, generosity, and commitment to grassroots development reflects the qualities needed for effective representation.

The community reaffirmed its belief in Dr. Eseigbe’s vision and pledged continued support, describing him as a beacon of hope and a dependable advocate for community progress.
