Kano NNPP ward executives expel state chairman Dungurawa

Executive members of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Gargari Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State, have expelled the party’s State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, citing alleged anti-party activities.

The decision was taken during the ward’s second executive meeting, held two weeks after the general election, and was endorsed by 27 executive members who signed a resolution formalizing the expulsion.

The meeting was presided over by Ward Chairman Shuaibu Hassan, with Ward Secretary Yahaya Saidu Dungurawa in attendance.

According to the resolution, Dungurawa was expelled for allegedly creating divisions within the party, instigating internal crises, failing to pay party dues, and making abusive remarks against Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The executives described his actions as detrimental to the unity, image, and progress of the NNPP in Kano State.

The ward leadership emphasized that the expulsion was in strict compliance with the party constitution, noting that discipline, unity, and cohesion must be upheld at all levels.

Copies of the resolution have reportedly been forwarded to the party’s Local Government, State, and National headquarters, as well as to NNPP National Leader Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf for information and further directives.

The executives said the expulsion serves as a deterrent to members who misuse positions of authority and act above party rules.

They reaffirmed their loyalty to the NNPP under Senator Kwankwaso and pledged continued support for Governor Yusuf, committing to peace, unity, and the party’s advancement at all levels.
