The Esan Central Local Government Council Liason officer, Barr Idemudia Ilueminosen on Tuesday in Ugbegun, charged supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to vote for the party “massively” at the 2023 house of assembly elections and the rescheduled house of representatives election for Esan Central, Esan West, Igueben Federal Constituency.

Barr. Idemudia Ilueminosen made the plea at a gathering of the PDP and other stakeholders.

The council boss described the gathering organised by the leadership of the PDP in Ugbegun as a “reconciliation meeting in several areas.”
He urged party members and supporters to “unite as one and indivisible family” and deliver PDP candidates at all levels.
Barr Idemudia Ilueminosen appealed for orderliness during voting and urged members and supporters to mobilise voters aggressively to polling units to cast their votes.

“I appeal that we concentrate on our voting units and wards and deliver our candidates. Let’s put our differences aside and put together what can make us victorious as the leading party in Edo State,” he stressed.
Earlier, the PDP Chairman in Ugbegun said the party was ready to vote for all PDP candidates on march 11.

In a related development, the council boss, Barr. Idemudia Ilueminosen heard a congress meeting with staffs of Esan Central Local government area charging them to come out en mass and vote for the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in the forthcoming Saturday, March 11 election.
The meeting which took place at the council secretariat hall and was chaired by the Liason officer Barr Idemudia Ilueminosen and the Head of the office, Esan Central LGA had in attendance all staffs of the local government Council.

Speaking to the worker, the LGA boss commends the Gov. Obaseki-led administration for being a worker-friendly governor commend the governor for prioritizing the welfare of civil and public servants as well as pensioners in the state by ensuring the review of their welfare package to meet existing realities.
He pleaded with the council workers to vote PDP candidate all through.
In their response the workers unanimously assured the council boss of their unflinching support for his administration as the council boss, Governor Obaseki led the administration and will vote for the PDP candidates in the forth coming election.
